light pillars near Helvesiek, Germany
Picture No. 3 taken from Helvesiek on January 28, 1998. Time: 8:28 pm. Exposure: 60 seconds at f/2.8, using a 50 mm lens and a Fuji 800 film. The bluish-white colour of the pillars suggest that this formation - part of which can also be seen in the previous shot - was produced by unshielded lights rather than gas flames (presumably lights from a sports field or an industrial complex just south of Hamburg.
